Raining memories

It has been raining here in Maleny for the last 3 days. I couldn't do anything but stayed at home, cooked and surfed internet. It's almost the same as my life in HCMC, except for the cooking part :D The only thing different is the view outside from the window.

Am I missing home?
I'm not sure ... as I am getting so familiar with traveling that I can easily take any place as temporary home.
But I guess I miss beautiful moments/memories sometimes, especially on rainy days ...

Random facts about me

1. I am an eating-machine, I love good food. And making good food, too :)

2. I am a Virgo, it tells almost about me except for the stable and conservative part. I am flexible and adventurous instead.

3. I see myself as a combination of contradictions, in a good way though as anyone who knows me doesn't feel annoyed but amazed at it.

4. I have a tender heart. I like taking care of others.

5. I can think in conventional way if I should or have to. But usually, I don't see things in just black & white but in shades of rainbows and full of possibilities.

6. I am smart, yet gullible.

7. I consider Love the most important thing in my life. And by love I mean love for family, for my significant other, for friends and for myself.

8. I tend to make plans for everything but am not a slave to plans at all. I am rightly proud of my work ethic, but I enjoy my willingness to lay the tools down, crank up the music and play like a child sometimes.

9. I’m afraid of height. But I went paragliding and want to do bungee jump.

10. I’m crazy outside and serious inside.

11. I believe in fate. And believe that fate is subjective.

12. I don’t get along well with those who are so serious. I make fun and laugh at myself. I love to make people laugh and love the ones who can make me laugh even more.

13. Quirk? I bite my own nails :P But when my friends asked me to help with theirs, I used the nail clippers, not my teeth :P

14. I like to try new things. Novel and unpredictable situations don't bother me; instead I find them somewhat challenging and exciting. I love to try everything I've never done to challenge my ability. Hunting, bungee jump, rock climbing, sailing .... you name it and I'll go for it to see how well I can do and how much I like it.

15. I can’t stand routine. I want to live everyday differently. Do different works, be in different places and try different things. The only exception is that I want to wake up with the same man everyday. I just need to find that man.

16. I sometimes don’t know what I want, but I always know what I don’t want. And there is no way to make me do what I don’t want to.

17. I've just started learning photography. I love taking smiles and happy moments of people around me, which makes me happy too.

18. Faith and honest are the essentials that I require in any kind of relationships.

19. I love love love traveling. And I normally go on my own. I hate to be tourist - going on tours, been there done that, and taking report pictures. I want to experience the real life of the places, which can give you real stories and feelings, not those you can read on any traveling books.

20. I like crafts and doing crafts.

21. I’m not good at showing my sympathy and sweet-talk. So when I do, don’t doubt it.

22. I have a bad habit of worrying about things, even those which peole think are trivial.

23. I have good fortune in friendship. I’m blessed to have a lot of friends who always love me and bear with me even though they keep complaining about how crazy I am :D

A quiet summer afternoon @ Yen

I am not a fan of coffee. In fact my heart cannot stand strong caffeine. But I love nice coffee shops. It's easy for me to fall in love with cozy environments, nice decorations and beautiful details. And I'd love to introduce as well as be introduced to such places.

Yen hides in a quiet valley which kinda separate it from the noisy and crowded world. It is only meant for those who looking for it.

The hidden entrance

This place looks like an artist studio. I was totally impressed by the natural lighting, white and simple decor here.

It not only has nice decoration but also nice guests. You can always find some guests passionately play guitar or piano here.

Dolezza House

Last weekend, I got invited to the newly opened fashion & coffee shop of one of my favorite traveling partners - Daisy Vuong. Not only being a fashion icon, this girl always impresses me with her aesthetic sense.
