Beautiful Sunday

As I stay in HCMC for the weekend, I accompanied the wedding shooting of my friend’s sister as an amateur photographer. Yeah, luckily she had a professional one already.
Leaving my house at 10:30am, we went to have Pho while waiting for the bride taking her make-up and hair-do on. And we got to the place exactly at 12pm, the hottest time of a day :P
The crew includes 1 pro photographer, 2 amateur ones, 4 supporters and of course the key persons of the day – the bride and the groom. Here we are

However, after just 10’ focusing on the bride and groom, we then leave them alone with their photographer to find a place to take pictures of ourselves. Well, you can say that it was more like our picnic than their wedding shooting day. So here is the scene

Anyway, by the end of the day, we had so many good pictures for them that they were all happy and forgave us, ha ha.

And off course, US.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do. In a wedding shoot, do as the bride does :D

… and as the groom and bride do :P

Me and the gang

My tiny cutie feet

Even with the exhaust-pipes :P …
And after 3 hours running around, we finally got all tired. So we finished the work quickly and then headed to District 7 for the delicious Eel dishes. I can tell that my friends love it, and through their word of mouth, many others are asking me to let them try :D

This time, I remembered to take the pictures

Fried eel

Deep fried eel

Delicious sauces

And Eel hotpot

Color Pallet in Ho Tram

Holidays again.
As we hadn’t had enough time to book any inbound or outbound tours for the long holiday due to busy traveling schedule of the crew, we decided to make a sweet escape to a new and quiet beach just 2 hours drive from Ho Chi Minh city. It's Ho Tram Beach.
8 persons and 2 cute cars, we set off from HCMC at 6PM. With all just-get-license drivers, 2 hours later we got to the delicious Banh Canh shop in Ba Ria, which is only 2/3 of the way :P The last 1/3 was the really adventure as there were only our cars on the completely dark, flat and empty road which seemed lead to nowhere and NONE of us really knew where we were heading to, ha ha. So, after another 2 hours, and tons of phone calls, we finally got to the hotel by getting the owner out to the highway to pick us up. A white man waving on the dark road in the middle of the night, such a nice pick-up service huh.
We quickly dropped our things and headed out again to catch up with the night-life here. Guess what? No light within 5km around our hotel, so we had to spent the night out at the river bank, in the only resort of the town, next to our hotel. Nice seafood noodle bowls, whisky, wine and funny chit-chat under thousands of stars above made the night fly by.
The next day was fulfilled with resort visit (Ho Tram Osaka), beaches (Ho tram, Ho Coc), seafood and photo time. Yes, this is what we are really good at, ha ha.
